Hello and welcome to ebc-art.
My journey into art is non-traditional. I started my higher education first studying Architecture, then getting an MBA at MIT. Graduation followed by a long career in Financial Services.
Architecture provides a unique training in visual arts within the boundaries of science. MBA takes one deep into the rational world of numbers and facts. Through the years, what may look like a dichotomy in my education provided a creative tension between the emotional and rational, with an on-going effort to balance the two. This positive tension guided me through my search for a broader lens to view and understand the wider universe surrounds us. I arrived at Art after this long journey.
Art is now a meditation, a source of calm and balance within a fast moving and increasingly complex world. I finally came to see the universe as an exceptional piece of creation within the delicate balance of art and science. My artistic inspiration is directly connected to this cosmic view.
I do not follow a particular style, my art does not fit into an academic definition. I am simply interested in capturing the eternal beauty and sharing it with you. I intentionally turn away from subjects that are not in harmony with the universe. I get my inspiration through a deep connection to nature and to all sentient beings within. While painting, I try to capture the extraordinary beauty of the ordinary and to balance the simplicity of the concept with the complexity of the detail.
My artistic mission is simple. I hope my paintings add joy, hope and beauty to your everyday life.
